This blog is being created in order to provide information for anyone who is in professional or personal contact with the Macedonian pianist Ivana Ristova. Ivana also has used the name "Ivana Simone" in the past.
Ms. Ristova is a talented pianist hailing from Skopje Macedonia. She lived in Chicago, Illinois from 2006 - 2009 where she attended (but did not graduate from) Roosevelt University. During her time in Chicago, Ivana committed a number of immoral and illegal activities towards a variety of individuals and organizations alike, including: lying about her musical background, lying about musicians and professionals she has worked with, fabricating concerts and awards she has been honored, committing bank fraud through numerous banks, borrowing expensive piano's from individuals and then selling them, borrowing large sums of money from individuals under "emergency-like" circumstances that are all scams to get money from people, stealing individuals credit cards numbers and using them without authorization, stealing individual items such as laptops, and taking "donations" on behalf of legitimate non-profit arts organizations and keeping the money for her own personal use.
Ms. Ristova is currently living in New York, and is the "owner" of an artist management company named Serra Artist Management. She is currently in the United States without legitimate work authorization, and has cases pending against her by the IRS for failure to have ever paid, or filed, tax returns in the U.S. Currently, Ivana has a warrant out for her arrest in Champaign, Illinois for committing bank fraud.
Please be careful when dealing with Ivana Ristova under any circumstance, either it be professional or personal. Her principal MO is to use some sort of "sob story" in order to get people to feel sorry for her, and thus provide her with financial or professional resources. Feel free to contact the Champaign, Illinois police department to verify that she currently has a warrant for her arrest.
